  • Write 2-3 short blogs per day — news and analysis — on the latest involving autonomous driving, electric vehicles, transit policy, and infrastructure, as well as deep-dive enterprise projects

  • Broke stories on Uber secret tools to undermine competition by keeping tabs on drivers; on a deadly Goodyear RV tire that went unreported for years; Tesla; and Apple
     

The Guardian, Contributing Writer (October 2015-December 2016)

  • Wrote on average 2-3 stories per week for The Guardian’s US outlet, primarily on issues of the Midwest, including the Flint water crisis, the death of Prince, and several police-involved fatal shootings
     

Self-employed, Freelance Journalist, Detroit (July 2015-December 2016)

  • With bylines in numerous national and local publications, including FiveThirtyEight, The Awl, Reuters, Jalopnik, Pacific Standard, In These Times, Al Jazeera America, The Trace, and others.

  • Developed one longform investigative feature for this alt-weekly every four to six weeks

  • Wrote a weekly news column for Metro Times’ print publication
